ABOUT ANETA: I’m a 26 year old office assistant, who in my spare time writes new adult romance novels. I was born in Poland and moved to Australia when I was around 5 or 6, luckily going back a few times over the last few years to visit family. I have a weird love for anything horror related, Alice in Wonderland, and Harley Quinn from the Batman series (who is also my inspo for my pen name). I have two tattoos (one of which I’m getting removed because I hate the font), and I’m hoping to get another one that will be Alice in Wonderland themed – Curiosity often leads to trouble – across my ribs. I’m a bit of a creative person, often using my spare time to read, write, or draw.

I love Harley Quinn, even if I am more of a Marvel fan. And I think your idea of the AIW themed tattoo is so nice, so I hope you get it! Oh, oh, and here’s props to the drawers/writers/readers!! ❤

ME: When did your blogging journey begin and why did you decide to start? 

ANETA: I started blogging July 2015, so I’m still a baby to blogging. Essentially I started so that I could tell others about my journey and process of writing a book, which then turned into reviews and just an amazing place to communicate with other writers and readers. Great place to get book recommendations too!

[I was actually really surprised that she’s only been blogging for about a year because her blog is absolutely beautiful and well put together. Oh and I agree about a good place to get book recs lol.]

ME: Do you prefer purchasing your novels in store or online? At what site or store specifically?

ANETA: Depends how keen I am to read that certain book. I usually end up purchasing Kindle versions on Amazon, that way I get them then and there, and can start devouring the second I get it. I only just recently started a book collection, just got an amazing copy of Alice in Wonderland!

ME: Besides reading and blogging, what else do you do with your spare time?

ANETA: Well, I guess I could say writing. I’ve written a few novels, one of which has been independently published already – Chasing Charli. I’m more excited about my current novel though – Lace and Sin, which is due to be released end of this month (fingers crossed). ME: I think Self-Love is important, so what is one thing you really love about yourself? (appearance, personality, etc.)

ANETA: I think I’m too nice sometimes. I find it hard to hate people, or hold grudges. Sometimes it’s a bad thing because I can be a bit of a push-over but I’m working on that, being a bit stronger haha

[This is SOOO me!! I’ve always been a push-over/sensitive, but like you I am trying to work on that. We can do it together! ❤ ]

ME: Since it is was the 3rd month of the year, what are your top three favorite songs right now?

ANETA: Hmm…top three favourite songs.
I don’t listen to the radio much in the car because I have my own music playing from my USB. But at the moment my top three songs would have to be
– Pillow talk – Originally by Zayn but I prefer the cover by The Vamps.
– Fairytale – By Milkychance (bit of an old one)
– 1985 – Hilltop Hoods ft. Tom Thum (Tom Thum is a beat boxer who’s been at the Adelaide Frindge a few times. He is sooo good. The saxophone and heaps of other sounds you hear in the song is actually done by this guy, it’s amazing!)

[Everyone has been listening to Zayn lately it’s ridiculous, lol. I haven’t heard of the second song, but the third I have just  and the third I have not either (I thought the artist said the 1975, lol). However I am always up for new music & my sister loves the sound of the sax so maybe I’ll pass that song over to her…]

Aneta is very friendly, I have to say. I was planning to post her FWF in March but I never ended up contacting her back in time, so that was my fault. However, thank you so so much Aneta for eventually having the time to chat with me!
