Random Fact of the Day: The sloth moves so slowly that green algae can grow undisturbed on it’s fur.

Hello sunshines! 🔆 It has FINALLY rained here in (not-so) sunny California!! ☔️ The rain at this time of year makes me pretty happy, so I hope where you are the weather is somewhat enjoyable 🙂 Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week I will post a new Top Ten List. This list includes topics such as ‘my top ten favorite authors’ or ‘my top ten books of this month’. The topics will change, so make sure you stay tuned for each week! Feel free to comment or link your Top Ten Tuesday lists below and I’ll be more than happy to check them out!

This week’s topic makes me so nostalgic but pretty happy, and that’s because I get to reflect on ALL the books I’ve read and pick out TEN Names That I Would Name a Child/Dog!! I love names, and I love naming things, so this shall be very fun! 😏

Image result for violet all the bright places[1.] VIOLET from All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven: Not only is ATBP one of my favorite books of all time, but I love the name Violet. Now, I don’t think I would name a child Violet, but I DO have a succulent named Violet 😉

[2.] ALASKA from Looking for Alaska by John Green: Again, what better way to remember your favorite book than by naming your dog Alaska!!

[3.] SENECA from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins: I think I would consider naming a child Seneca, but all together it’s a really pretty name. I don’t think I would name a male Seneca though…

[4.] JACE from The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare: I have this slight obsession with names that start with “J”, and I don’t know why. But yeah, Jace sounds good, lol.

[5.] CHARLIE from The Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky: Another beautiful book with beautiful characters. I would definitely name a plant/dog Charlie ❤Image result for charlie perks of being a wallflower gif

[6.] ELEANOR from Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell: Again, another definite name for a plant/dog. Eleanor (and Charlie) is so simple but I love the name so much!

[7.] ADELINA from The Young Elites by Marie Lu: Okay, even though Adelina is bit of a villain, the name, Adelina, is so…majestic? I know Adelina means “noble”, so that’s a plus! 😉

Alright, those are all the names I could think of! I noticed a lot of the names are fairly simple names, but I am far from being a simple person so that’s pretty interesting 😅 I would love, love, love if you guys would link your TTT’s in the comments — I am always looking for new favorite names 😉 Have a great rest of your morning/evening/night!!

Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next time…
