Hello sunshines! I was tagged by Poppy @ Poppy’s Best of Books for the Entertainer Blogger Award, so THANK YOU, Poppy! I’ve actually never seen this award before, so when I was nominated I was pleasantly surprised, lol. But anyways, let’s get into the award:

MY A’s TO THE Q’s

 Why did you start a blog in the first place?

I started blogging for several reasons, however the main reason is that at the time, I was reading so much and I didn’t have anywhere to document it. Also, I just discovered Booktube, and a bunch of them had blogs along with their channels. So I guess that’s really what inspired me to start blogging. I was originally a Lifestyle blogger with my best friend, then I branched off and continued another blog on my own. But then I noticed that I wanted to talk about other things besides Lifestyle in general. So, yes, JBelkBooks was born!

 What is your favourite book?

I’m sorry, but if you’ve been here since…FOREVER, you would know that I don’t just have ONE favorite. However, my top two at the moment is Looking for Alaska by John Green & All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven (but, of course, you would know this if you’ve been here for a while, lol).

 What do you dislike the most?

Is this question supposed to be book-related? I’m going to assume so, and in that case, one of my biggest bookish pet peeves is when people ask to borrow my books because “I have so many”. Like no, I have SO many because 1.) I love books and they are my babies and 2.) because I DON’T GIVE THEM AWAY SO GO AWAY. (sorry, was that too harsh..?)

 What is your favourite food item from the mall?

Ummm..my mall has this really good chocolate & coffee gelato, lol. I don’t eat fast food (and that’s really all my mall has), so I went with the gelato xD

 What is your favourite pastime?

Reading, painting, reorganizing my bookshelves for no reason, listening to music (Hamilton right now 😉 ), crying over how much homework I have, etc. 🙂

HEY!! I’M BACK FROM MY SEMI-HIATUS!!! I did want to let you guys know that I will be posting an August + September Wrap-Up at the end of September. I didn’t forget to type one up for August, but since I was on a hiatus I didn’t think there was a need for an August Wrap-Up, lol. Anyways, this will be officially announced in my September BWWU xD I MISSED YOU GUYS!! ❤
