Random Fact of the Day: During his or her lifetime, the average human will grow 590 miles of hair.

Hello sunshines! I hope everyone is having a great Labor Day weekend! Today I am sharing yet another Captivating Cover with you all — Graphic Novel Edition!!  If there’s one genre that always has the best covers, it HAS to be graphic novels! With that being said, let’s see what GN I picked! For more information about Captivating Covers, click here.

IMAGINE THIS: A kick-ass heroine. Better yet, a legend. But, she doesn’t know WHO she is — Muslim? Inhuman? Teenager?? She was just an ordinary girl, but then she is suddenly empowered with all sorts of gifts. What if that happened to you? Well, continue reading to find out what graphic novel has all this awesomeness 😉

Title: Ms. Marvel, #16: Last Days, Part I

Author: G. Willow Wilson, Adrian Alphona (Artist)

Genre: Graphic Novel, Science Fiction, Young-Adult, Action

Published: June 17th, 2015

While all of the Ms.Marvel covers are absolutely stunning, this one happens to be my favorite so that’s why I’m showcasing #16 of the issues. Kamala looks so bad-ass on the cover and the 50 shades of purple of the cover are so captivating (although I may be a little biased because purple is one of my favorite colors). If there is one thing that I love about Ms.Marvel, it’s the diversity and the fact that it’s centered around a HEROINE. I have yet to read Ms.Marvel, but it definitely is on my TBR for Graphic Novels!! 🙂

Check out the synopsis below for Ms.Marvel, #1: Meta Morphosis ❤ (because no spoilers here!!)

Synopsis from Goodreads:

Ms.Marvel, #1: Meta Morphosis by G. Willow Wilson & Adrian Alphona

“The legend has returned! Marvel Comics presents the all-new MS. MARVEL, the ground breaking heroine that has become an international sensation! Kamala Khan is just an ordinary girl from Jersey City–until she is suddenly empowered with extraordinary gifts. But who truly is the all-new Ms. Marvel? Teenager? Muslim? Inhuman? Find out as she takes the Marvel Universe by storm, and prepare for an epic tale that will be remembered by generations to come. History in the making is NOW!”

What do you think of Ms.Marvel?? Have you read any awesome graphic novels lately? Isn’t the cover amazing?? Let me know what you think down below in the comments! 😀

Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next time…

      • I’m extremely lucky as I have a comicbookshop in the city I live! So I just go there! I’m trying to not buy too much because it can end up being very expensive but I buy my favourites! I love the new Thor, Silk (marvel), Spider-Woman and Spider-Gwen, Captain Marvel, so many more *___*

      • Ooo, that makes a lot more sense — you are definitely VERY lucky xD I agree comics can be really expensive, which is why I tend to check for the cheapest on the internet 😛 I, too, want to check out Spider-Gwen & Captain Marvel!!

      • Yes!! That’s one of the occasions where I’m happy to be in a big city!;) plus being able to buy things in english while in France tend to be difficult! – if only money could rain on us x’) – Captain Marvel is best friend with Spider-Woman so it’s awesome to read both! But the first volume of Spider-Woman was bleh, maybe start with the second one if you do 🙂
