Random Fact of the Day: Despite the hump, a camel’s spine is straight.

Hello lovebugs! I hope everyone’s weekend was awesome and you are spending your last “free-ish” day with the people/things you love! Anyways, let’s share some love today with a FWF post! Feature with Followers is a weekly meme created by JBelkBooks (me) in which I will be showcasing one of my AMAZING followers. This gives me an opportunity to really get to know them and give them an opportunity to get their blogs out there in the community. The way I choose my featured follower is Top Secret, so wait for your chance to be featured! [If you think there is someone out there worthy of being showcased that I haven’t shared yet, definitely shoot me something in the comments that provides the blogger’s name and URL, and I will be sure to check them out!!]

DO YOU KNOW THIS WEEK’S FEATURED FOLLOWER??

  • We literally have so, so, SO much in common!
  • She recently posted a review about Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
  • Every Sunday she posts a Book Theme Meme!

Fadwa @ Word Wonders!!

WORD (1)

img-20160313-wa0027-1ABOUT FADWA: Hello there beautiful humans, my name is Fadwa. I’m a 19 years old medstudent and certified bookworm, born and raised in Morocco. I was born and lived most of my life in Casablanca which is the biggest city, and am now living in Rabat, the capital. So it’s safe to say that I’m a city girl. And I swear that no it is not all a desert and no camels are not our national mode of transportation (That is a legit question I got a few times before). I am a very sarcastic potato, and a dreamy brocoli. Yeah, and my jokes suck. Being dreamy, I never get bored, I can go on and on all in my head hehe. I’m very ambitious, hella competitive, and probably the most stubborn person you’ll ever encounter. My mom sometimes wants to smack my head against a wall to make it softer. My favorite genres are Contemporary and Fantasy, i love them equally and you can’t make me choose. Though, Historical fiction is a close second. I’m very rambly too as you can see.

Hahah, aw, Fadwa is so cute. I love broccoli and potatoes, so I automatically love Fadwa, too. And don’t worry, I laughed at your jokes!! 😀

Q&A TIME!

ME: When did your blogging journey begin and why did you decide to start?

FADWA: I started blogging in the very end of January, so it’s been about *counts on fingers* 3 MONTHS AND A HALF. Wew, time flies. I started because I’m a crazy person and didn’t think my life was busy enough and wanted to cram it up more ? That’s my unofficial answer. But the official reason for me starting this journey is because I got tired of fangirling about my books with inanimate objects. My friends are far from being avid readers and professional fangirls/boys. At some point, I stumbled upon Booktube and saw all these people sharing their opinions with literally EVERY. PERSON. ON. EARTH. It immediately got me interested but I would be way too awkward, and feel very exposed in front of a camera, so what’s the alternative ? A blog. I feel like this is one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life.

[3 months and a half and your blog is already beautiful??? xD ]

ME: I see you have changed up your theme for your blog! I like it very, very much 😉 Speaking of themes, do you think organization, color schemes, etc. are important for a successful blog? Why or why not?

FADWA: GOTCHA ! I actually haven’t changed the theme of my blog, just got my butt off my bed, stopped procrastinating and made myself a descent header and started playing around with some graphics, voila ! And thank you 😀 I’m glad you like it. Okay so, to answer your question, I think that those things are REALLY important, like a lot, I know I’m shallow like that :p. It’s the look of the blog that attracts people, it’s like a first impression, even unconsciously, a cute blog that’s color coordinated, organized and so one, attracts the eye and gets people to scroll down through the posts. At least that’s what happens with me. But that’s not all, once past that first impression stuff, the posts have to be interesting and hold a punch of flavor to keep readers coming back for more. Then again, I’m just a fœtus blogger, what do I know about being successful at it ?

[Haha, well I absolutely love what you did with your blog — it is verrry beautiful and welcoming! I do agree with what you said in regards to “are looks everything for a blog”. First impressions, or “firsts” in general, are everything and even though it may sound bitchy *language, sorry*, it’s the truth, lol.]

ME: Besides reading and blogging, what else do you do with your spare time?

FADWA: Let’s see. Does eating count ? It has to. But more seriously I study. A lot *sigh*. I workout quite a bit too and like to wander around and find new places to get lost in, especially near the water, new beach spots, lake sides etc… and I just discovered this lake near where I live, it is absolutely stunning. Okay I’m rambling here, I’ll stop. OH, and I love music, listening to it, discovering it, just everything about it. Watching movies and Tv-shows too, I’m obsessed with so many Tv-shows it’s ridiculous.

ME: If you could describe your life in three words right now, what would those words be?

FADWA:

Stressful: Hello finals month. They’re starting in less than 2 week and I’m literally loosing sleep because of how much stress I’m accumulating.
Exciting: Not right this second but the prospect of it. I’m starting my first internship this summer which means first experience inside a hospital. I’m pumped. A lot of sleepless nights -by choice-, beach nights and little road trips with friends.
Busy: With studying, the blog, working out and my social life, I have no clue how I manage to stay sane.
[Aww, well I hope after finals month that you are completely free and you can do the things that you love!! Good luck with your first internship — it sounds like an awesome experience!]

ME: Since it is the 5th month of the year, what are five interesting facts about you?

FADWA:  I always have to go blank for a few second/minutes when someone asks me this question. I hope these are somewhat interesting:
1- I am multilingual. I speak fluently Arabic, Amazigh, French and English and have some basic knowledge is Spanish which I’m attempting to learn at the moment.
2- I have lower teeth braces and I’m okay with them but I’m dreading the time when I’ll have to put them on my upper teeth.Ugh.
3- I’m a big procrastinator but at the same time I’m a perfectionist and a control freak, how can that be? I have no idea.
4- I am a huge animal lover. My top 3 are Pandas, Horses, and Dogs. But I loved them all.
5- On the subject of animals, I am allergic to cats so yeah, I can’t be anywhere near them or my throat, eyes and noise get itchy and I get a fever and basically cannot get out of bed. I have less severe allergies from dust and humidity where my nose get itchy and that’s all.

[Lol, and here I am struggling to keep up with Spanish in High School 😛 ]

Don’t ya just LOVE Fadwa?? I’m sorry if it seems like I’m saying that a lot, but I really do appreciate all the interactions we have through the comments and on social media. Like I mentioned before, this wonderful lady and I have a TON in common and it’s really nice to find more people like you sometimes even if they’re a few years older than you…

P.S. If you didn’t know, Fadwa and I just recently sealed our “bestfriend-ship”, so yeah, she must be amazing lol. ❤

If you haven’t checked out Fadwa’s new and improved blog, definitely go over and take a quick look  (and while you’re at it, make sure you let her know that I sent you!) — her blog is more themed than mine and I’ve been blogging for almost a year xD
