Random Quote of the Day: “In a mad world only the mad are sane.” – Akira Kurosawa

Hello sunshines! 🔆 How are you all on this lovely Wednesday? It is the last full week of April and I am so read for this month to be over! I feel like I’ve been saying this a lot lately, but I’m hoping the more I say it the faster it’ll come true 😅 Anyways, Which Cover Wednesday is a post hosted by Sumaya @suereadingcorner. For this post, you choose two different covers of the same book — the books can have different publishers, different formats, etc. Then you decide which one you think is more appealing. I don’t think I’ve mentioned this before, but if you guys ever have theme recommendations or recs in general for WCW, please feel free to comment them!😀 Let’s get onto the debate! ⚔

I love, love, love the first cover. The colors are vibrant, the graphics are clear, and whole cover is cohesive all together. The second cover is okay, but I love the detail of the first cover.

Hello sunshines! 🔆 We are halfway through the week and I am already ready for it to be Friday!! I am going two for two as I am posting a WCW week to week (surprise, surprise 😅)

You guys know that I go crazy for the color purple, but the first cover is also pretty good as the colors are pretty contrasting. However, how many covers do we have in YA that have a female on it? Yeah, so I’m going with the second cover!

Hello sunshines! 🔆 I am very happy to say that we are halfway through this week — next thing you know it’ll be the weekend! It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve posted a WCW, so I am back with another one! Which Cover Wednesday is a post hosted by Sumaya @suereadingcorner. Hmmm I don’t know, both are pretty unique in their own ways. I enjoy the graphic on the first cover, but the second cover has a great font. However, I think I’m going to go with the first cover because I enjoy the tagline more xD

Hello sunshines! How’s your week going? If it’s not so good, don’t worry! Today’s WCW will brighten your soul and enhance some form of conversation between you and I! This week’s WCW is themed: DIVERSITY. Yes, I know, you are excited. 😊

Definitely the first cover!! The typography is amazing, and the illustrations are stunning. I love the contrast between the black, red, and kind-of off-white.

Hello sunshines! ☀ We are halfway through the week which means we are HALFWAY closer to the weekend!! To spice up your week a little bit, here’s a debate-ish post, Which Cover Wednesday. Let’s get to it! ⚔

GIRL IN PIECES BY KATHLEEN GLASGOW

Both covers say so much about what the book is actually about. I’m actually currently reading this one, and the cover is simple, but the book itself is quite the opposite, lol. I think I’m going to go with the first cover just because it’s more “clean”.

KIDS OF APPETITE BY DAVID ARNOLD

Both covers are actually really good. I love the typography for both, but I’m going with the first cover simply because of the diversity of characters featured. We rarely see this, especially with YA Contemporaries, so I really appreciate that.

THE UNBOUND BY VICTORIA SCHWAB

Even though I am huge purple fan, I am going with the first cover yet again! The first one is pretty mesmerizing and definitely goes with the Fantasy-feel. Does anyone else think that the face looks like Jessica Alba??

Kids of Appetite has recently been added to my TBR, so if you haven’t heard about that one, be sure to check it out (it has great reviews on Goodreads)! (:

Thanks for reading & I’ll see you next time…

Hello sunshines! 🔆 Happy Wednesday! Today I am posting the Poetry Edition of Which Cover Wednesday. I love poetry, and I love covers of poetry novels. So, today’s topic just felt like destiny! Let’s debate! ⚔

MILK AND HONEY BY RUPI KAUR

The first cover…SAVE THE BEES!!! I own the first cover and it’s so floppy — I love it. The second cover is the hardcover, but I have yet to see anyone with that one, lol.

The second cover! The I love the illustrations for the second cover, and the fact that it has a tagline at the top that is though-provoking. Also, the second cover is more “clear” when it comes to the title & overall graphics.

Definitely the second cover, even though it kind of reminds me of a comic. The first cover…is just…wow. It reminds me of a print that you’d see on a shirt at Forever 21…lol.

So what do you think? Did we agree about each novel? Have you read any of those listed? I only own Milk & Honey, but the other two have good ratings as well.

Thanks for reading & I’ll see you next time…

Hello sunshines! 🔆 It is my second day being back to school, and I am slowly dying excited for the week to be over with already! I am back today with our weekly debate of novel covers, but this is the Non-Fiction Graphic Novel Edition!! NF covers in general can be on the gloomy side, HOWEVER I’ve found a few worth debating! As always, feel free to comment down below YOUR thoughts! 🙂

I’ve always enjoyed when graphic novels have that purple-ish color like in the second cover, but I’m going with the first cover this time. The graphics are little more detailed on the first cover, as well.
