The Bucket List Tag!

Random Quote of the Day: “Keeping score of old scores and scars, getting even and one-upping, always make you less than you are.” – Malcolm Forbes

Hello sunshines and Happy Monday! 🔆 I thought I’d start this week with a fun little tag: THE BUCKET LIST TAG! When I was younger I was completely obsessed with bucket lists, and now that I get to list a few I am pretty excited! (;

This tag was created by Serenity Books. THE RULES:

  • Write the rules in your post
  • Thank the person who tagged you
  • Write ten things that you wish to do in the future
  • Tag 5 other bloggers to do this tag

P.S. I wasn’t tagged by anyone, lol. No surprise! xD

[1.] See Adele in concert. Now, I know she has a child and she’s probably not going to be hosting any concerts anytime soon, but I still have my hopes!

[2.] Visit the Van Gogh Museum. If you’ve been here for a while you know Van Gogh is one of my favorite painters of all time, so to be able to see all of his works in one room is extremely ideal!! I also want to go to Amsterdam, so that’s a two in one deal!

[3.] Have my own in-home library. This is pretty self-explanatory as every book lover probably wants this as well.

#SFATW | My Bay Area, CA Loves

Souvenirs from across the world(3)

Random Fact of the Day: If a lobster loses an eye, it will grow another one.

Hello sunshines!! 🔆 How are you all on this beautiful day? I hope you are doing great and you are reading so many awesome books 🙂 Anyways, do you remember SFATW?? Earlier this year I posted Souvenirs From Across the World | What’s Up With the Bay Area?? and SFATW Part 2, so if you missed those feel free to check them out! But to do a little recap for those that missed out on those posts, here is a little summary on SFATW:

“Souvenirs From Across The World (SFATW) is a feature created to get to know each other a bit better, especially where we are all from, share a bit of our countries, cities, cultures, traditions, writers, authors. The main goal of Souvenirs From Across The Worldis to create a link between all bloggers, from everywhere, and to share a bit of the diversity that makes everyone unique on the blogosphere.”

-Marie @ Drizzle and Hurricane Books 💬

If you want to join SFATW or you want to read more information, check it out HERE!

I am so excited that Marie decided to continue this feature, so thank you, Marie! This month’s theme is Things I Love About My Country and/ or HometownAs you guys may know by now, I am located in the Bay Area of sunny California, so that is what my post will be centered around! Please join me and read all about what I love about the Bay Area 🇺🇸

If you’ve forgotten, the Bay Area of CA is made up of several cities including San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, etc. So keep in mind the Bay Area is a wide spectrum of California 🙂

💙 THE DIVERSITY: Where I live is known to be one of the most diverse places in California AND the United States as a whole! I love, love, love, that there are so many different representations and cultures in the Bay Area — not only does this widen my perspectives, but also my understanding and openness of others. I love that I am able to witness other cultures and practices that I may not have been able to experience if it weren’t for where I live.

💙 THE FOOD: Okay, we all love food. But since the Bay Area is so diverse, I am able to basically taste the world. This doesn’t mean that everything I eat is authentic, but I at least get an idea of what other people eat. (And again, food is amazing so I’m not complaining 😌)

💙 THE POPULARITY: What do I mean by this? Well, I am actually able to attend book signings, concerts, and other events that aren’t usually in other smaller areas/countries. I am extremely grateful that some signings and events are in my general area — I know a ton of bloggers/readers that don’t get the opportunity to visit these things, so I make sure to take advantage of what I am provided.

💙 THE ATMOSPHERE: This is kind of a broad love, but I love the weather (most of the time), the different places that I can visit (if I had the money and time), etc. There is SO much to do in CA in general, but in the Bay Area alone I think there are a significant amount of sites and locations. Now I say this, but I’ve actually never really ventured CA (and yes, that is sad, but it’s on my bucket list to venture CA more!!)

And that is ALL for this SFATW post! I hope you all had a great time reading this post and finding out what I Love About The Bay Area!! I really hope I helped you travel the Bay Area a little bit — come visit me!! 🙂

Are you taking part in the SFATW feature??? Have you been to California? What about the Bay Area?? Chat with me in the comments below!

Thank you again to Marie for hosting this awesome feature!!❤

Souvenirs From Across The World | What’s Up With The Bay Area?

Random Fact of the Day: A hippo can open its mouth wide enough to fit a 4 foot tall child inside! (note to self: don’t go around a hippo)

OH MY GOSH IT’S HERE!!! THIS POST IF FINALLY LIVEEEEE!!! Hello sunshines! Today I am here with a VERY exciting post all originated from the wonderful and brilliant mind of Marie @ Drizzle and Hurricane Books!! So what is this creature called “Souvenirs From Across the World”?? Well, since I’m too lazy to actually put things in my own words right now, take the wise words of Marie (for your convenience and mine) :

Souvenirs From Across The World is a feature made for book bloggers, but also bloggers in general and writers from all around the world. We are just SO many, and I have made such wonderful friends here. This feature is a way to share with each other something slightly different, a bit personal and unique with everyone. Since we’re from all around the world, this feature is created to get to know each other, and most especially each other’s culture, country, hometowns etc.”

If you want to join SFATW or you want to read more information, check it out HERE!

So since I didn’t want to do the United States in general (because, heck, a lot of people live in the U.S.), and I didn’t want to give everyone my living address, I decided to focus on my general area. This happens to be…

THE BAY AREA (of California)

Let’s just get this out of the way: I am certainly not an expert of The Bay Area. Yes, I’ve lived in this area my whole life, but that doesn’t make me your top tour host. Without further a do, WHAT’S UP WITH THE BAY AREA???

The Bay Area consists of several cities, but here are some of the major ones:

  • San Francisco, CA
  • San Jose, CA
  • Oakland, CA

I’ve visited all three, but if there’s one that I enjoy the most, it definitely has to be San Francisco. So if you should get anything from this post, it has to be GO TO SAN FRANCISCO!!!!

My Reading Habits! | Tag

Random Fact of the Day: There are more telephones than people in Washington, D.C.

Hello and Happy Sunday! I know I usually post Feature with Followers today, but since I knew I’d have a busy schedule this weekend, I didn’t plan to feature anyone for the rest of this month. HOWEVER, since today hasn’t been too hectic, I am here to post an almost “light” post, the My Reading Habits tag!

I wasn’t tagged by anyone, but I came across this tag in a forum on Goodreads, so I decided why not! Before I get into the tag though, I wanted to mention that at the end of this week I will be traveling to Santa Monica, CA, where I will be attending YALLWest! I know some of you guys already know this from my post, but I did want to make sure you guys know that I won’t be going on a hiatus or anything. Unfortunately, I won’t be posting everyday this week or next week like I usually do because of this. You should be seeing a post from me every other day from now until around May 9th. And YES, for all of you asking, I will post something about my experience at YALLWest once I get settled back home 🙂 OH, and as for my April Wrap-Up, that is TBD!

But anyways, let’s get on with the tag!
