Random Fact of the Day: A mole can dig a tunnel 300 feet long in just one night.
Hello sunshines! 🔆 By the time you read this post, it will already be Christmas for me, but I did want to wish EVERYONE a Happy Hanukkah 🕎, Merry Christmas🎄, & a Grand Holiday!🎁🎉 I hope whatever you are celebrating today that you have an amazing day and you cherish what you love the most!
To honor the known holiday, I’ve decided to post The Joy of the Holidays Book Tag! But, *shhh*, don’t tell anyone — I wasn’t actually tagged 😬
Anticipation: The holiday excitement is real, what book release(s) are you most anticipating?
I’ve been stalking a bunch of peoples’ 2017 Anticipated Releases lists, and I definitely have a list of my own now. But here’s a few that I am REALLY excited for:
Holiday Songs & Carols: What book or author can you not help but sing it’s praises?
Jennifer Niven & John Green forever and always — their novels make me feel things that I’ve never felt before with any other author. Their novels are beautiful with such great messages, and I definitely recommend those two authors to EVERYONE! ❤️
Decorating: What book or series has wonderful world building?
Hmmm…I feel like whenever I get asked this question it’s always hard for me just because I think it targets more fantasy novels, and we all know I don’t read fantasy a lot. But, from what I’ve heard, The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer has fantastic world-building. I haven’t read TLC myself because I don’t own Winter yet, but it’s definitely an anticipated read.
Tradition: Favorite classic or one that you want to read.
I don’t think I have a favorite classic, but I do want to read Jane Austen! I only…3 (?) of her novels and I haven’t read ONE yet — I know, I am ashamed.
Sweets & Treats: What book would you love to receive for Christmas.
Hahahaha *looks at long TBR list*…Oh, you know, ALL OF THEM. But if we are being realistic (but who likes being realistic?), I would love to receive any of my 2017 anticipated releases 🙂
Candles in the Window: What book gives you that warm fuzzy feeling.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky & Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell — those are the first two that came into my head. Although I haven’t read TPOBAW since last year (?), I still remember that it was a favorite. As for E&P, it’s just so…”lovey dovey” and quite different.
Eye-Candy Buys: What are some of your favorite book covers?
Such a difficult question! Here are a few of my favorites:
Well, that is all for the Joy of the Holidays Book Tag! Happy Last Sunday of 2016 — spend today smiling & surround yourself with EVERYTHING that you adore because you deserve it!
How are celebrating the holiday today? Share with me what you received or even bought/made for someone else! HAVE A GREAT DAY, EVERYONE! 🎁✨🎊
