Nature Box | Food For Your Tummy!

Random Quote of the Day: “Of course there is no formula for success except perhaps an unconditional acceptance of life and what it brings.” – Arthur Rubinstein

Hello sunshines! 🔆 I am back with an awesome FOOD subscription box unboxing + review! If you don’t remember, I’ve actually unboxed NATURE BOX before earlier when my blog was just a fetus. Since then I’ve ventured back into NATURE BOX for their free box — you just pay for $4.65 shipping! Anyways, let’s get into all the deets:

Image result for naturebox logoNATURE BOX is a subscription plan that delivers a world of carefully sourced and nutritionist-approved foods right to your door. Each snack contains wholesome ingredients – with no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors.

I’m going to be honest — their site is a little hard to follow when it comes to subscribing or becoming a member, but from what I understand you only pay $5 a month? Also, you can purchase individual items without being subscribed which is pretty cool.

As I’ve mentioned I got this box just by paying for shipping ($4.95)! The only down side to this is that I didn’t get to choose which snacks I wanted in my box. Let’s see what was inside:

  • Salt & Vinegar Veggie Chips
  • Kung Pao Pretzels
  • Double Chocolate Brownie Cookies
  • Crunchy BBQ Twists

Friday Finds [Aug. 25th]

Random Quote of the Day: “Never despair; but if you do, work on in despair.” – Edmund Burke

Hello sunshines! 🔆

HAPPY FRIDAY!! It has been a long week and I am excited that it is now the weekend!

Friday Finds is a meme hosted by @adailyrhythm. It is a chance for you to showcase the books you’ve ‘found’ and added to your TBR list! They do not have to be books you purchased and they could’ve been found anywhere — bookstores, online, library, etc. I don’t know how many Finds I’ll actually be sharing today just because this week has been pretty crazy and hence, I haven’t had much time to venture through GR to discover new Finds. But anyways, here’s what I HAVE found since my last Friday Finds (:

32682118The Breakfast Club meets Pretty Little Liars, One of Us Is Lying is the story of what happens when five strangers walk into detention and only four walk out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide. Pay close attention and you might solve this. On Monday afternoon, five students at Bayview High walk into detention. Bronwyn, the brain, is Yale-bound and never breaks a rule. Addy, the beauty, is the picture-perfect homecoming princess. Nate, the criminal, is already on probation for dealing. Cooper, the athlete, is the all-star baseball pitcher. And Simon, the outcast, is the creator of Bayview High’s notorious gossip app…

glass, magnifier, search, tool icon

In this gorgeous companion to the acclaimed Over and Under the Snow and Up in the Garden and Down in the Dirt, Kate Messner and Christopher Silas Neal bring to life a secret underwater world. In this book, readers will discover the plants and animals that make up the rich, interconnected ecosystem of a mountain pond. Over the pond, the water is a mirror, reflecting the sky. But under the pond is a hidden world of minnows darting, beavers diving, tadpoles growing…

Captivating Covers [#32]

Random Quote of the Day: “Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.” – Sir Richard Steele

Hello sunshines! 🔆

I am back, back, back again with another Captivating Covers post!

Author: Benjamin Alire Saenz

Genre: Young Adult, Realistic Fiction

Published: February 21st, 2012

Okay, if you haven’t seen this cover or even heard of this novel yet then you are living under a rock. Not only is the cover drop dead gorgeous, but it’s also a DIVERSE READ so many people have talked about it all over the media. I, myself, haven’t read this beauty but it is on my TBR! I love the font of the title and just the overall artistic feel of the cover. This novel has elements of LGBTQIA+ and Coming of Age so if you interested in those topics, feel free to read the synopsis down below!

Image result for falling into place amy zhangI really liked Lia’s response with THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER by Stephen Chbosky, but I didn’t want to put the same thing xD Instead, I think I’m going to go with FALLING INTO PLACE by Amy Zhang — I’d like to think that eventually things will figure themselves out and my life with fall into place!
