Seven Deadly Sins Tag!

bi-weekly-wrap-up-12

Random Quote of the Day: “One of the indictments of civilizations is that happiness and intelligence are so rarely found in the same person.” – William Feather

Hello sunshines! 🔆 Yes, I’ve actually been TAGGED this time for the SEVEN DEADLY SINS tag, so let’s do it! Oh, and thank you, Yasmin, for the tag!! ❤

GREED

What is your most inexpensive book? What is your most expensive book?

Hmmm…do the books I got for free count as the most inexpensive? Because if so, I have a ton of those. However my most expensive book thus far would have to be THE SCULPTOR by Scott McCloud — this beauty was cheaper on BookOutlet (thank you, BO), but it’s sales price is around $22.

WRATH

What author do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Image result for wrath sinHmmm…I’m going to have to go with Colleen Hoover or Rainbow Rowell. Both of these authors have controversial novels that have been brought into my attention as of lately but I do enjoy one or two of their novels.

GLUTTONY

What book have you devoured over and over with no shame?

LOOKING FOR ALASKA by John Green. This one is a no-brainer — I read it once (maybe even twice) a year!

The Spring Has Sprung Book Tag!

bi-weekly-wrap-up-12

Random Quote of the Day: “To love deeply in one direction makes us more loving in all others.” – Anne-Sophie Swetchine

Hello sunshines! 🔆 I am officially back with another book tag: The Spring Has Sprung! I know I am a little late with the start of Spring, but it’s okay because it’s still Spring here!! 🌻

💐 FLOWERS 💐

Look on your shelves. What is the most beautiful book both inside and out?

Yoon_9780553496680_jkt_all_r1.inddTHE SUN IS ALSO A STAR by Nicola Yoon!! I think the cover goes well with the Spring-theme as it has so many bright colors! I love this novel, Yoon, and the cover so I think this one is a perfect fit (:

 🌱 GRASS 🌱

What is a book that you find others like way more than you do?

WE WERE LIARS by E. Lockhart. I know not EVERYONE likes this novel, but a ton of people have told me to “give it another try”. I just couldn’t get into the beginning and I felt disconnected from the characters.

☔️ RAIN ☔️

What’s a great book that lifts your spirits when you’re down?

LG_tumblr-ngcdmtOJvJ1thbbnoo1-1280_1422199718.539There’s so many that I could choose for this one, but it would only make sense if I chose ALL THE BRIGHT PLACES by Jennifer Niven. Now don’t get the wrong message — ATBP isn’t the happiest novel, however I love it so much and the characters that it still brings a smile to my face!

The Bucket List Tag!

bi-weekly-wrap-up-12

Random Quote of the Day: “Keeping score of old scores and scars, getting even and one-upping, always make you less than you are.” – Malcolm Forbes

Hello sunshines and Happy Monday! 🔆 I thought I’d start this week with a fun little tag: THE BUCKET LIST TAG! When I was younger I was completely obsessed with bucket lists, and now that I get to list a few I am pretty excited! (;

This tag was created by Serenity Books. THE RULES:

  • Write the rules in your post
  • Thank the person who tagged you
  • Write ten things that you wish to do in the future
  • Tag 5 other bloggers to do this tag

P.S. I wasn’t tagged by anyone, lol. No surprise! xD

10 THINGS ON MY BUCKET LIST 📋

[1.] See Adele in concert. Now, I know she has a child and she’s probably not going to be hosting any concerts anytime soon, but I still have my hopes!

[2.] Visit the Van Gogh Museum. If you’ve been here for a while you know Van Gogh is one of my favorite painters of all time, so to be able to see all of his works in one room is extremely ideal!! I also want to go to Amsterdam, so that’s a two in one deal!

[3.] Have my own in-home library. This is pretty self-explanatory as every book lover probably wants this as well.

The Who Am I Tag!

bi-weekly-wrap-up-12

Random Quote of the Day: “One’s first step in wisdom is to question everything – and one’s last is to come to terms with everything.” – Georg Christoph Lichtenberg

Hello sunshines! 🔆 How are you all doing today? Thanks to Lia @ Lost In A Story, I found this really fun tag! It’s a pretty quick and simple one, so here it is:

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF NAME?

I never looked into this, so let’s a look! The first link that came up when typing in “meaning of Jesalin” said:

Firefox_Screenshot_2017-03-19T22-53-33.443Z.png

It is very scary and extremely weird how accurate that description is…and now I am questioning my whole life, lol. What did I get myself into…

WHAT IS MY MYER-BRIGGS PERSONALITY TYPE?

Firefox_Screenshot_2017-03-19T23-03-10.598Z.png

“The Advocate personality type is very rare, making up less than one percent of the population, but they nonetheless leave their mark on the world. As members of the Diplomat Role group, Advocates have an inborn sense of idealism and morality, but what sets them apart is that they are not idle dreamers, but people capable of taking concrete steps to realize their goals and make a lasting positive impact.

Advocates tend to see helping others as their purpose in life, but while people with this personality type can be found engaging rescue efforts and doing charity work, their real passion is to get to the heart of the issue so that people need not be rescued at all…”
I semi-agree with this…there was a more in-depth explanation, but I doubt you guys wanna know about what kind of person I am in detail, lol.

This or That Book Tag | Part Two

bi-weekly-wrap-up-12Random Quote of the Day: “Man is what he eats.” – Ludwig Feuerbach

Hello sunshines! ☀ I was tagged by the wonderful Arvenig @ Arvenig.it to attempt to complete the THIS OR THAT Book Tag, so thank you, Arvenig! I’ve already completed a different version of this tag before, so if you are interested in that, you can check it out HERE. Let’s get on with the tag:

RULES:

1. Mention the creator of the tag (Ayunda @Tea and Paperbacks).
2. Thank the blogger who tagged you!
3. Choose one out of the two options. (You don’t have to explain why you chose what you did… only if you wanted to!)
4. Tag 10 other people to do this tag to spread the love!

READING ON THE COUCH OR ON THE BED?

Image result for reading gifHmmm..either or is okay with me. I usually read on my bed 🛌, however, so I think I’ll go with that option! (:

MALE MAIN CHARACTER OF FEMALE MAIN CHARACTER?

Now that I think about it, I think I read more novels with the main character being a female, and I think I enjoy novels narrated in the same sex (female) just because I can relate to the main character better (usually). However, that doesn’t stop me from reading novels with a male main character — those are usually the funny novels, lol.

SWEET SNACKS OR SALTY SNACKS WHEN READING?

I typically try and stay away from eating and reading at the same time, but I think I’m more of a savory person xD But since that isn’t an option, I think I’ll go with sweet because I enjoy fruit snacks and such. 🍦

TRILOGIES OR QUARTETS?

I’ve never read a quartet fully and I don’t pick up trilogies most of the time, but I guess I’ll pick trilogies since I own a few!

FIRST PERSON POV OR THIRD PERSON POV?

This usually depends, but for the most part I enjoy first person. However, either or is preferred depending on the genre.

READING AT NIGHT OR IN THE MORNING?

At night🌙. I read the most/most efficiently right before I go to bed. I’ll probably fall asleep before I can turn the page if I read in the morning, lol.

LIBRARIES OR BOOKSTORES?

Bookstores!! This may be the reason why I am broke, but I love, love, love how diverse and amazing bookstores can be. I get most of my books online, but exploring different bookstores is always mesmerizing. If I go to a library, I’ll never return the books that I check out and then I’ll have a never-ending fee for life xD

BOOKS THAT MAKE YOUR LAUGH OR CRY?

Again, hard choice because I read books based off of my mood. I tend to pick up books that make me cry more often for some reason, so I’ll go with that. However, a good laugh is always needed!

BLACK BOOK COVERS OR WHITE BOOK COVERS?

Black!! 🖤 The contrast between other colors with black almost ALWAYS looks gorgeous, and with white covers, over time you’ll be able to see dust/dirt more clearly.

CHARACTER DRIVEN OR PLOT DRIVEN STORIES?

One of the hardest questions EVER. Often, I love to see character development in the novels that I read, but if there is no plot or the plot isn’t interesting at all, nothing else in the story matters for the most part. So, I’ll be going with Plot Driven novels! (:

This tag was actually kind of difficult, so I challenge YOU, yes, YOU, to take upon this tag for yourself! I’m not tagging anyone this time, so feel free to consider yourself TAGGED! 💓

What’s the last tag that you enjoyed? What do you think of my responses to this tag? Chat with me in the comments!

Thanks for reading & I’ll see you next time…

Hello sunshines! ☀ I’ve been tagged by the wonderful Ace @ All ‘Bout Them Books and Stuff to do the GOODREADS BOOK TAG! I think I’ve already posted this tag, but oh well — Part Two it is! (:
