Uppercase Box | Nov. – Jan.

bi-weekly-wrap-up-17Random Quote of the Day: “If I stay in academia, I might end up going someplace random.” –  Lauren Willig

Hello sunshines! ☀ You may have noticed that I haven’t posted a Subscription Box Unboxing + Review for a couple of months. I’ve decided to not post monthly unboxings + reviews, but instead post them every three months. With this being said, every three months I’ll post a collective unboxing + review!

Uppercase Box | Young Adult Monthly Book Subscription BoxFrom Uppercase, every month you’ll get an amazing young adult book that you’ll absolutely love! Every book you get from Uppercase is a brand new, hardcover book that’s signed by the author or comes with a signed bookplate from the author. Every Uppercase book is always published within the last month. It is extremely uncommon for a subscriber to already have a finished copy of the book and it almost never happens.

There are two current options that you can subscribe to:

  • Book Exclusive Plan – $17/month [Brand new hardcover, YA book, signed book or bookplate, reading experience with exclusive content, & a personal hand-written note to you]

I tried out the exclusive reading content feature that they offer for the first time reading THE SUN IS ALSO A STAR and I have to say it’s pretty unique! There was background reading, fun facts, videos from the author, etc., so that was definitely a plus. My favorite box out of the three was December’s, but the November box had TSIAAS so that was awesome! (:

What do you think about my ratings? Have you read Frostblood yet? Did you enjoy TSIAAS as much as me?? Chat with me in the comments!

Thanks for reading & I’ll see you next time…

  1. Harry Potter cookie cutters! Alice in Wonderland Scarfs! Planners for Bookworms! OMG Jess this is so cool!
(Sorry about number of exclamation marks)
I loved all the stuff you got in these boxes, bar the CTM chapter sampler. I will never buy that book, or even read it after what I’ve heard about it, I don’t get why people still support the book when’s its been said by so many people that it’s racist and ableist

  2. I’ve been considering trying out uppercase. I’m still not sure yet. I think your ratings fall pretty close to where I’d put them.

    • Well, I hope you find a subscription box for you! Definitely do your research and I’m sure you’ll find one just for you! Uppercase is a good service for the most part, but I do want to venture towards OwlCrate and other services (:

Thank you for stopping by, Kayla!
