Feature with Followers [#32]

Random Quote of the Day: We have, I fear, confused power with greatness.” – Stewart L. Udall

Hello sunshines!! 🔆 I am so incredibly excited to be sharing today’s post with you! It’s been MONTHS since I’ve posted a Feature with Followers, mostly because I didn’t have time to choose and chat with you guys. However, I am BACK with our first FWF of 2017!

A few things have changed — I am no longer striving to share a Follower every Sunday, but instead just one follower every month. I found that trying to find & interview someone every week was taking a lot of time that I didn’t have, and I didn’t want to refrain from posting FWF all together. But besides that, this is the only new change! (:

For those of you that are new to JBelkBooks, Feature with Followers is a meme created by JBelkBooks (me) in which I will be showcasing one of my AMAZING followers. This gives me an opportunity to really get to know them and give them a chance to get their blogs out there in the community. As always, FWF is open for any bloggers to take part in, so if you are interested in spreading love & kindness for your followers, be sure to try FWF out! (:

I was raised in California and I’ve loved books and reading since I was very young. I started becoming a bigger part of the bookish community in August 2015 and started this blog in August of 2016. I’ve loved my experience in this little corner of the internet and I hope to continue sharing bookish thoughts with all of you for years to come!

ME: When did your blogging journey begin and why did you decide to start?

Image result for purple arrow SARA: I started blogging in August of 2015. Before that I had a Booktube channel for a little over a year. That was going okay but I had some problems with camera equipment and since I live in a third world country, it wasn’t something I could easily. I realized that I didn’t feel that comfortable in front of a camera but I still wanted to be a part of the book community online so I decided to try my hand at blogging. I love it so much!

ME: Speaking of your blog, I noticed your unique blogger handle, “Freadom Library”. How’d you come up with that handle? (if you don’t mind me asking…)

Image result for purple arrow S: Well when I started looking for names for my Booktube channel, I came across the word Freadom in a random forum and I really liked it. I think it represented my thoughts on reading well, how it’s always been so freeing for me to lose myself in a book. When I moved over to my Blog, I decided to add the Library to accentuate the fact that I do a lot of reviews haha

ME: Besides reading and blogging, what else do you do with your spare time?

Image result for purple arrow S: Work haha that’s pretty much all I have time to do these days but when I was younger, I used to sing and dance and I went horseback riding as well. I hope to get back to some of those things in 2017.

ME: Two more questions!! What would you say is your biggest accomplishment this 2016?

Image result for purple arrow S: Oh wow… I don’t know haha I think maybe reaching 500 followers. I never expected to spend so much time dedicated to my blog or to have so many people follow me. It’s so crazy to me!

ME: And one last question just for fun: Which would you pick: being world-class attractive, a genius, or famous for doing something great?

Image result for purple arrow S: All of those sound great haha but I think I’d pick being famous for doing something great. I always want to think that I’ll be able to impact the world in a positive way so it’d be awesome to be famous for that.
