Hello, hello! I am a little late for this Wrap-Up, but things got in the way and blah, blah, blah. Anyways, the month of love ended a few days ago, therefore I am posting my February Wrap-Up!
However before I get into the Wrap-Up, I have to explain that I was in a major reading slump in February (and still am), therefore…I didn’t finish any novels.. *sigh* SO with that being said, I thought this would be kind of an “update” post instead?
My “Progress” From February:
- The Revenants: The Odyssey Home by Scott Kauffman (review copy) — about 30 pages in…lol.
- Dark Places by Gillian Flynn — about 50 pages in, making no progress whatsoever.
I am truly ashamed because I was so confident and motivated in the beginning of 2016, and now I don’t even think of picking up a book. I have to watch a bunch of Booktube videos until I get my mojo back, lol.
But, but, buuuttt, I DID paint earlier this month and it was quite refreshing. I had this old painting that I really didn’t think represented me anymore, sitting on my walls, so I painted over it with THIS:
This is one of my majorly abstract pieces, but I am actually kind of proud of it because I was able to cover up what was underneath, and in person there is a lot of volume on this piece.

Sorry to hear about only getting to two books–life is busy and gets in the way of our beloved reading sometimes, doesn’t it? Ain all it seems you’ve had a really good month. Your abstract painting is stunning.

Yeah, unfortunately. I don’t know…when I don’t get reading done I always feel disappointed because there are so many great books out there and every day that I’m not reading seems to be wasted. But anyways, thank you so much!! 🙂 it’s not one of my best paintings, but it’s better than what it was before xD

Oh my goodness can I relate! While I did manage to read two books, I was sooo slumpy this month. I was so busy and there was so much to be done. But don’t worry, next month you can try again! I really want to read Dark Places, I’m such a sucker for a psychological thriller. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts. That painting is seriously gorgeous! Have a good March 🙂

Ahh, well at least I know I am not the only one! You read two more than I did, so in my book you are doing just fine! xD But yes, this month will hopefully be a better one for reading, for both you & me 🙂
I’ll definitely be doing a review on Dark Places, just for you! Also, thank you for the kind words — you are too sweet.. ❤
