And here is the list of all of the snacks in the box:

  • Adult Complete Pack by Smarty Pants
  • Sea Salt Caramel Apple by Bear Naked [5 out of 5 stars]
  • Mini Peanut Butter Clutter by JimmyBar! [4 out of 5 stars]
  • Cookie Thins (Cake Batter OR Chocolate Chip) by Mrs. Thinsters
  • Pretzel Crisps® Gluten Free Original Minis by Snack Factory®
  • Cheddar n’ Stuff SUPER CRACKERS by Funley’s Delicious [4.5 out of 5 stars]
  • Harvest Snaps Snapea by Calbee [5 out of 5 stars]
  • Fruit Snacks by YumEarth [4 out of 5 stars]

Above you will see my ratings for the items I have eaten already. I must inform you that I have YET to try all of these snacks [Yes, I know, I am a slow eater]. As you can see I was fairly pleased with everything I have eaten so far. I was actually surprised by the JimmyBar! because the texture was kinda weird, but I got over it. The Bear Naked granola was nice and great with yogurt, so I would recommend that if you are a salted caramel & granola lover. The best snacks in the box that I DID eat were the Super Crackers and the Harvest Snaps. The Super Crackers were sort of like a mix between Cheez-its and cheetos to me, and then the Harvest Snaps were surprisingly really good. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the snack that much considering it’s made of peas, but it was actually really pleasing. I have seen the Harvest Snaps at Costco, so if you are interested in those I would recommend going there.

Friday Finds [Oct.30th]

Hey, hey, hey everyone! It is almost Halloween!!! Are you excited???

Anyhow, today is the one and only Friday of the week where I get to share all of my finds! And I have to say this week has been a great one for new finds! I don’t know how many I’ve added to my Goodreads account, but I do know that it is a good handful! So without further blabberings, let’s get into the finds…

And that is FINALLY all of the novels that I found interest in this week! Yes, if you saw my Which Cover Wednesday this week, a few of the novels are repeats. So if you saw some books on that post that you liked, feel free to click on the book cover itself and it’ll take you to the informational guide on Goodreads.

I know a few of these novels were mentioned by booktubers, but I think most were just found by browsing the genre and recommendations sections on Goodreads…So thank you, Goodreads! ❤

Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next time…

Which Cover Wednesday [#7]

FullSizeRender (24)

Hello lovebugs and welcome to this week’s Which Cover Wednesday!

Find more information about Which Cover Wednesday here

Hmm..I think I am going to have to go with the second cover. The first cover is a little too plain for my liking, and I really like the texturing of the second (not the physical texture). They both meet the “feel” of the book, which is great. But for me the second cover is one I’d most likely showcase on my bookshelf.

Again, the second cover. I like the vibrancy and overall message you get just from looking at the cover. Although I don’t get the same message from the first cover. If I were to look at the first, I imagine maybe a thriller novel. But for the second, I see maybe a contemporary or even a mystery. And once I read the synopsis, I think the second cover relates more.

I thought it was so weird that they have different titles, but that’s besides the point. I actually enjoy the first cover better this time. It does look a little cliche, but the second cover doesn’t really provide me any insight of the overall novel. Also, honestly, I have a bunch of novels that have the typical female figure on the front cover. And I am kind of tired of it…So I kind of think this book could use a cover change. The only thing that separates the first cover from the second is that the font is somewhat better.

And that completes this week’s Which Cover Wednesday! As always, let me know down below your thoughts! 🙂

Top Ten Tuesday [#8]

FullSizeRender (22)

Happy Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week I will post a new Top Ten List. This list includes a variety of topics such as ‘my top ten favorite authors’ or ‘my top ten books of the month’. The topics will change, so make sure you stay tuned for each week!

This week’s topic is a FREEBIE! However, it is supposed to be Halloween themed, so I picked…

Since it’s the month of October, a lot of bloggers and booktubers have been mentioning some thriller/horror novels. So I did obtain a few interesting ones. Here are the top ten that I want to read:

Okay so I must admit, I haven’t read some of these novels because I am just simply to scared to buy them…I feel like if I buy/read them and if they live up to the hype they’ve been getting, I’ll have nightmares for days. So, I actually haven’t read any of these lovely thrillers, but I hope I will have the wits to pick them up one day. If you have thriller/horror recommendations, I would love to know! And please let me know your thoughts on these novels if you’ve read them already!

Subscription Box: Uppercase Box | #1

Hello my lovelies! Today I am happy to share one of my newest subscribed boxes — UPPERCASE!

Uppercase Box | Young Adult Monthly Book Subscription Box

From Uppercase, every month you’ll get an amazing young adult book that you’ll absolutely love! Every book you get from Uppercase is a brand new, hardcover book that’s signed by the author or comes with a signed bookplate from the author. Every Uppercase book is always published within the last month. It is extremely uncommon for a subscriber to already have a finished copy of the book and it almost never happens.

There are three current options that you can subscribe to:

  • Book Exclusive Plan – $17/month [Brand new hardcover, YA book, signed book or bookplate, reading experience with exclusive content, & a personal hand-written note to you]
  • Expert Plan – $23/month [every listed from the Book Exclusive Plan, except you also get 1-2 high quality bookish items]
  • Personalized Plan – $29/month [you will fill out a personalized reading profile which is used along with your Goodreads profile (if available) and each month you will receive a book based on YOUR specific reading preferences and tastes. No author content or reading experience]

However, I am currently subscribed to the Expert Plan. I received everything promised, and I am very excited to share those today.

So when I first got my package in the mail, it was nicely bubble-wrapped (which is appreciated). It did arrive around the time frame that was provided as well. Here are the first looks of the items:

From top to bottom:

  • The overall drawstring packaging
  • Personalized note
  • Signed bookplate, author content, and The Lunar Chronicles temporary metallic tattoos from FierceReads
  • Alice’s Enchantmints from The Unemployed Philosopher’s Guild
  • Alice in Wonderland Coin Purse (front & back)
  • First & Then by Emma Mills

The Enchantmints were SO freakin’ cute! (I know that’s weird to say, but they are!!) And I was really glad I received another coin purse because I’ve been meaning to buy another one. The book was one I’ve never even heard of and it was hardcover, so that was an extreme plus! So I guess you could say I am very pleased with Uppercase!

ALSO throughout the book, they add post-it notes – each with a special code that you can enter on their website to unlock exclusive content, videos from the author, additional backstories, and interact with other Uppercase readers. How cool!

I do plan on continuing my subscription with Uppercase. But if you are interested yourself, I would really recommend trying it out! And if you have ANY questions or comments, I would love to chat!

*Disclaimer: Uppercase currently ships to U.S. and Canada, including APO addresses and Puerto Rico only.*

Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next time…

Captivating Covers [#10]

Hey readers and welcome to another Captivating Covers! It’s been a good week or so since I’ve done this post, so I decided to post that today.

I was browsing the comics/graphic novels section on Goodreads, and I came across this beauty! It was at first sight. Haha, I am kidding. But it was an eye-grabbing cover that absolutely needed to be shared!

Just let the beauty soak in for a little…

YES I KNOW, it is absolutely gorgeous! When I first saw this cover, my reaction was simply just a “wow”. I didn’t even know what I was looking at until my eyes focused for a good 30 seconds. I love the cover as a whole — there is not one thing I dislike about it. The colors are very vibrant and distinct, the detail is pretty awesome, and can we just take a moment to cherish the bird silhouettes at the bottom? I love silhouettes and I love birds. So, that was a major plus.

And the title…The title is really intriguing to me. A girl? Being a king? What? So of course I had to read the synopsis of this novel, and I was even more impressed.

Read it for yourself down below!

Friday Finds [Oct. 23rd]

My oh my, hasn’t this week just been frustrating and dreading? I barely posted this week, and I apologize for that. I am actually pretty disappointed I didn’t get to posting this week’s Top Ten Tuesday, because the topic seemed pretty intriguing. But, that is all in the past and I can only hope that I post more often next week.

Although this week was stressful, when I did have that rare free time, I sat on my phone and opened up the WordPress app or Goodreads. And that’s where the sunshine comes from the rain, because I remind myself about all the great books I shall read some day. As I may recall, I did find more books this week that I am happy to share with you all!

AHHH!!! I am SO freakin’ excited that Sparks came out with a new book!!! I actually had the opportunity to purchase it at Costco, but it was pretty expensive at the time. So I ended up getting another novel that has been on my TBR for a while (will not be spoiled until my haul). But I really, really, REALLY want his novel in my possession as soon as possible. PLEASE let me know if you’ve already read it! (it has a 4.02 rating on Goodreads!!!)

But anyways besides my excitement for that novel, I am also interested in the others as well. Black Widow was actually at Costco too, but I didn’t want to pick it up not knowing much about it. But it is on my TBR as of now.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and if you’ve found something interesting this week, I would love to know about it!

Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next time…
