Hello! If you missed the previous Captivating Covers post, click here to check it out!
This week’s Captivating Cover is one that I came across from another blogger — Sue @suereadingcorner. So thank you, Sue! (:
I don’t know too much about this book, but the cover was so stunning that I had to share it with you guys!
Isn’t it just wonderful??? I love the red and the environment that is shown. The silhouette of the castle-figure is also very pleasing, along with the title clipart/font. And did you see the slug-line on the top of the cover???
“What if your entire life was built on a lie?”
However, I don’t know much about this novel therefore I don’t know if the cover is a big part of the novel, but I am sure it is.
If you are interested in the background of this novel, read more to find out!
Synopsis from Goodreads:
Switched by Amanda Hocking
When Wendy Everly was six-years-old, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to kill her. It isn’t until eleven years later that Wendy finds out her mother might’ve been telling the truth. With the help of Finn Holmes, Wendy finds herself in a world she never knew existed—and it’s one she’s not sure if she wants to be a part of.
